Master Class one

This week’s master class was great. I think that the notion of having industry people demonstrate how a film shoot works and what to do and what not to do was great rather than going into your first film shoot blind and relying on your autodidactic skills.
Most of the things I learnt where how the set works as well as a long list of audio techniques and skills and what not to do on a set. Learning how the set works was the most eye opening thing for me.  Moving around with Shane as he spoke about his onset experiences with working with actors, directors, ad and producers was very insightful. As well Shane spoke about the set in regards to  a post production view that was eye opening and he is beneficent for helping me out with that. The experience was also very interesting watching to see people step up to a role.
